Database Administrator (m/f)

Duties

• Installation, configuration and maintenance of Central system database and servers, De-centralized system database and workstations
• Upgrade database and software to new release levels
• Manage database storage structures, tablespaces, files and logs
• Manage database backups, users and licenses
• System Documentation
• Database optimization and tuning
• Service Interventions for preventive and correctional database and network related topics
• Support internal departments and customers on database and network related issues
• Training and support of customer engineers

Requisites

• Degree in the field of Applied Computer Science or Practical Experience
• Experienced knowledge on: Oracle database (deep), PostgreSQL, Database management systems, Operating systems (Microsoft and others) & IT Network
• Oracle Business Intelligence
